چکیده مقاله
The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between working memory capacity and inhibitory control with overgeneral autobiographical memory in adults with major depression The statistical population of the study is all patients with major depression referred to counseling centers in Sari and the sample size is 120 depressed patients who were selected from a specialized clinic by available sampling method of both genders The data collection method was both library and field methods and the research instruments were autobiographical memory interview, stroop color word test, Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale Digit Span and Beck Depression Inventory second edition In order to evaluate the reliability of the measurement tools, Cronbach's alpha was used Pearson correlation statistical method was also applied, and for analyzing the results SPSS18 software was used The results revealed that working memory capacity and inhibitory control were associated with overgenerality from autobiographical memory in adults with major depressive disorder
