The story of humanity’s fall has enchanted thinkers, writers and theologians for centuries, shaping our understanding of will, free morality, and divine justice The aim of this study is to delve into the contrasting perspectives offered by “Paradise Lost” and the Quran Milton depicts the fall as a tragic, irreversible incident that highlights the weight of disobedience, while the Quran emphasizes the possibility of redemption and God’s mercy The image of Satan also shifts—Milton’s Satan is a disobedient and charismatic figure, whereas the Quran’s Iblis is the decisive deceiver By examining these divergent viewpoints, this study sheds light on larger questions about salvation, moral responsibility and fate, inviting readers to think about how various traditions interpret the everlasting struggle between evil and good
