A new and efficient method for the synthesis of tetrahydrobenzo a xanthene 11 ones in solvent free conditions and in the presence of Fe3O4/SiO2/ H2SO4 magnetic nanoparticles that are used as support for solid acid Fe3O4/SiO2 nanoparticles containing sulfuric acid are easily improved by using an external magnet and can be used several times without loss of reusable reactivity The Fe3O4 / SiO2 / H2SO4 MNPs were thoroughly characterized by using FE SEM, FT IR The low cost, ease of preparation and recyclability are the main superiorities of this solid acid catalyst
