In this article, we study a class of the generalized Abel integral equations of the first kind numerically The applied method is Muntz Galerkin which uses Muntz Legendre basis polynomials Also, existence and uniqueness of solution for this problem are shown To show the capability and efficiency of this scheme an example is presented
