DEVELOPING PROXIMITY PAYMENT USING NFC-ENABLED MOBILE PHONES WITH CASE STUDY OF IRAN

using mobile phones as one of the most expanding mobile equipments of modern social life, encouraged organizations and business institutions to develop proximity payment using combinationof new communication technologies and mobile phones NFC technology which is today in the focusof interest to use as an m payment solution , is a more advanced version of RFID Integrating mobilephones with NFC make the possibility to have smartcard technology with the addition of a screen,keyboard and ‘always on’ communication In this paper first we introduce NFC technology with aspecial look on its payment solutions Then with the case study of IRAN we present an approach touse this technology for proximity payment applications using mobile phones with the attention ofcurrently available NFC hardware and applications in IRAN
