By developing use of IT Application for transaction in Capital Market, having a secure and flexibleinfrastructure, usable application for high volume and high speed transaction is necessary To resolvethese needs organizations should use an operating system and also server that supports all they need In this article, the feasibility of using the applications under Linux operating system in Iran's capital market is studied At first the advantage and disadvantage of using Linux instead of other operating system in Iran is studied, and after that, the level of familiarity of Iran's IT industry with Linux and the position of this OS in Iran's IT industry reviewed In continue, the Capital Market, Its kind and type of transactions, network and security infrastructure, existing application and the ability to promote them to new application under Linux discussed At the end by considering these issues result of using Linux applications in the capital market offered
