چکیده مقاله
This research aims to deepen the systemic perspective in the facility location process of recreational and accommodation centers by applying the Design Science Research Methodology DSRM Within this framework, facility location is viewed as a multidimensional system composed of functional, spatial, and behavioral components analyzed through six sequential stages Initially, evaluation criteria for facilities were identified through literature review and expert judgment, classified into three categories essential, functional, and attractive and then weighted using the Analytic Hierarchy Process AHP Based on the obtained weights, several layout alternatives were designed and refined through iterative design evaluation cycles within a decision support environment The findings indicate that satisfying essential criteria is a prerequisite for entering quantitative evaluation, while functional and attractive criteria play a decisive role in differentiating layouts Moreover, achieving the optimal layout is not a result of abrupt changes but of systematic, gradual improvements Ultimately, one of the developed layouts was identified as optimal, balancing functional efficiency, environmental attractiveness, and essential requirements The research provides a practical framework for facility location decision making and highlights the value of design science in understanding and improving complex service systems
