This research paper examines the multifaceted impacts of escalating regional geopolitical tensions on the development and sustainability of educational technology EdTech ecosystems in Iran, with a specific focus on the ۲۰۲۴–۲۰۲۶ period The Middle East, a region characterized by persistent instability, proxy conflicts, and the pervasive influence of international sanctions, presents a unique and challenging environment for technological advancement in education This study employs a comprehensive approach, drawing on geopolitical theory, existing literature on EdTech adoption, and analyses of Iran's socio economic and technological landscape It investigates how factors such as international sanctions, regional conflicts, and internal governance policies, particularly concerning internet infrastructure and cybersecurity, shape Iran's EdTech ecosystem The research explores the direct and indirect consequences of these tensions, including their influence on access to hardware and software, the flow of information and pedagogical innovation, the digital divide, and the resilience of digital learning platforms Furthermore, the paper critically assesses the burgeoning opportunities for innovation, localization of EdTech solutions, and the strategic role of Artificial Intelligence AI in mitigating some of the adverse effects and fostering educational resilience Drawing on an ISI style academic structure and adhering to APA ۷th edition citation standards, this paper synthesizes insights from at least ۲۸ scholarly references It aims to provide a forward looking analysis, offering nuanced understanding of the complex interplay between geopolitical realities and educational technology in Iran, with significant implications for policymakers, educational institutions, and future research endeavors in the region
