Food safety is a critical public health concern, amplified by globalization and complex supply chains This review highlights recent innovations in food safety management, focusing on rapid detectiontechnologies like real time PCR and biosensors, blockchain for traceability, and novel preservation methodssuch as high pressure processing HPP and cold plasma It also addresses emerging contaminants likenanomaterials, sustainable solutions such as bio based packaging, and the role of AI in risk assessment Theimpact of COVID 19 on safety protocols and the challenges posed by regulatory inconsistencies and climatechange are discussed The review concludes with future research directions and policy recommendations forenhancing global food safety
