Diazinon is an organophosphate pesticide, and nowadays this pesticide is mostly used in agriculture In this investigation, we studied the toxic effects of diazinon in HEK 293 cells using MTT assay A range of diazinon concentrations 5, 50 and 500 μM were treated to analyze cytotoxicity 24 hours after exposure, MTT assay was used for cytotoxicity evaluation Diazinon induced some morphological changes such as vacuolization, cell rounding and cell blebbing In addition, diazinon reduced the viability of HEK 293 82±3% , 51±4% and 15±2% at 5 μM, 50 μM and 500 μM P
