The auditory system has a vital role in the evolution of basic areas in childhood Given the importance of the early years of life in acquiring language and speech, early detection and intervention of deafness are highly noticed Interventions are performed in different ways Developing new technologies as well as the epidemic of COVID 19 caused virtual interventions to be considered using various software Hence, this study aims to develop a virtual auditory training software program and to examine its effect on the auditory skills of deaf children under three years of age This study was an applied study that was quasi experimental in terms of a method using pre test and post test design with a control group The statistical population of this study included 30 severe to profound deaf children of 0 3 years of age They were selected using convenience purposive sampling The deaf children applied implants or hearing aids, and their parents were selected and randomly divided into experimental and control groups The Little EARS questionnaire of Coninx et al 2003 was used to collect data This research was conducted in two stages Firstly, the software was compiled, designed, and tested according to educational needs In the second stage, this software was applied to the experimental group to improve auditory skills, and the control group received the traditional method of intervention Data were collected from two groups in post test and pre test and analyzed using descriptive statistics mean, standard deviation, graphs and inferential statistics covariance in SPSS software version 27 The results of the data analysis showed that the assumptions of the covariance test are valid There is a significant difference between the subjects in the control and experimental groups in terms of auditory skills score by controlling pre test p< 0 001 The effect of the difference was 44% According to the results of the data analysis, virtual auditory training software is one of the best options to provide language training It is possible to consider it as a complementary system of traditional education due to the conditions of society parents' concerns, epidemics, etc
