This study aimed to investigate the relationship between lovemaking and narcissism with divorce intention in couples with family conflict The statistical population consisted of ۳۰۰ couples living in Kermanshah who were selected through convenience sampling The research tools included narcissism , lovemaking lust , intimacy , and commitment , and divorce intention questionnaires And the research was conducted in ۲۰۲۴ The results showed that narcissism had a positive and significant relationship with the tendency to divorce ۰ ۷۴ Also , narcissism showed a positive relationship with lust ۰ ۶۴ and a negative and significant relationship with intimacy ۰ ۶۹ and commitment ۰ ۶۴ On the other hand , lust had a positive relationship with the tendency to divorce ۰ ۷۵ , while intimacy ۰ ۵۵ and commitment ۰ ۶۸ showed a negative and inverse relationship with the tendency to divorce The findings indicate that self centeredness and a focus on lust increase the tendency to divorce due to their self centered and superficial nature, while intimacy and commitment reduce the tendency to divorce by creating a deep emotional connection and attachment to the relationship It can be concluded that this study emphasizes the need to strengthen intimacy and commitment, healthy management of sexual needs, and reduce self centeredness to reduce the tendency to divorce and improve the stability of marital relationships
