چکیده مقاله
Food security resilience has emerged as a critical research theme in the context of increasing environmental, economic, and social shocks Numerous conceptual frameworks have been developed to assess resilience at different levels ranging from individual to national scales each aiming to identify the determinants that enable households to withstand and recover from shocks such as food shortages This study critically reviews major resilience measurement frameworks, including those proposed by Alinovi et al , FAO RIMA I and II , Sassi, Smith and Frankenberger, UNICEF, DFID's Sustainable Livelihoods Framework, Holzmann's Household Economy Approach, and region specific models such as that of Gazuma and Astatike While these frameworks differ in scope, methodology, and analytical depth, a common limitation is their reliance on linear, static models that inadequately capture the complex, dynamic, and multidimensional nature of food security resilience This restricts their effectiveness in informing targeted policy interventions To address these shortcomings, the present research proposes employing a system dynamics modeling approach to integrate multiple variables, feedback loops, and temporal changes This dynamic perspective is expected to provide a more accurate and actionable understanding of resilience in rural household food security, thereby supporting evidence based decision making for sustainable development strategies
